What does your brand stand for? Choose one brand value to shout about.

More and more I'm seeing values declared publicly like the ValleyHealth sign I saw posted in an elevator at one of their facilities in Northern Virginia. It prominently features, "Our Values Courage - We have strength and conviction to do the right thing regardless of opposition or fear." Now that's a bold statement, and I can guess what inspired it.

Whether you know it or not, your brand is in conversation with the community it serves. Can they hear what you're trying to say?

Animated slide show features text labels on tape to highlight brand marketing showcase what they stand for. Valley Health value courage, NY Presbyterian sponsors an arts organization that spreads love, Krewe eyewear packaging tells buyers that they get a second chance if something breaks.
Whether you know it or not your brand is in conversation with the community it serves.

These three brand examples caught my attention because although their approaches are different, their intentions are equally clear:

  • KREWE Eyewear: "We Believe in Second Chances".

  • New York Presbyterian Hospital + Art on the Avenue NYC: "SPREAD LOVE".

  • Valley Health: "Courage"

If you could choose one brand value to shout about, what would it be? Now, is always a good time to review, revise, or write in plain language what your brand stands for today. Go ahead. Choose one brand value to shout about.
