Read Me

Atomic Habits by James Clear. Not since Ekhart Tolle‘s “The Power of Now”, has a book influenced how I think and behave to this degree. If you have habits you would like to change, or goals you would like to achieve, I recommend you read this book and follow the instructions. You have nothing to lose and everything to gain. It changed my life for the better and that’s my highest recommendation. https://jamesclear.com/atomic-habits

Design is Storytelling by Ellen Lupton. Published in 2019 this one slight book not only tells you, but does a great job at showing you what design with a capital "D" can do. Don’t let its size fool you, there is a big dose of design, art, psychology and science in it. https://ellenlupton.com/Design-Is-Storytelling

In the Eye of the Wild by Nastassja Martin. If you’re like me you really enjoy hiking and being out in the natural world. This nonfiction book by French athropologist Martin details her experience living with remote tribes of people. First she lives in the Alaskan Yukon wilderness, and then in provincial Russia where she has a life threatening encounter with a bear. It goes without saying that it tranforms her. If you like a good adventure story, this is one for you. https://www.nyrb.com/products/in-the-eye-of-the-wild?variant=37890623832232
